What to Expect
Preparation:
Shave the treatment area 24 hours before. No waxing, threading, or plucking for 4 to 6 weeks before treatment as these remove the follicle the laser targets. Avoid sun exposure to the treatment area.
Session:
15 to 60 minutes depending on area. Cooling applied with each pulse. Mild heat sensation during treatment. Most patients find it very tolerable.
Post-Treatment:
Mild redness for a few hours. Hair in treated follicles sheds over the following 1 to 3 weeks. No significant downtime.
Session:
6 to 8 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart for the face. 8 to 10 for body areas in some patients.
